Inboard Electric Drives

Your equipment or ours - we get it right !

Betts Boat Electrics can design an electrical drive system to suit your needs whether inboard, sail drive or outboard.

With over 30 years of experience in marine electrics we can give you qualified advice on the whole electrical system including batteries, charging, solar and how the higher propulsion voltages can tie in with your existing boat wiring. All work is done to AMSA standards which is very important considering the higher voltages and currents electric drives use.

It is our goal to design a system for you which is simple to use and maintain. Modern electric drive technology is now at a stage where reliable components are available at reasonable cost. We can work with you if you wish to purchase

components yourself or we can provide a complete design & build service for your convenience. We can help with the options so that you can benefit from the many advantages of going electric.

If you are in South East Queensland call Mal to arrange a demonstration of yachts fitted with electrical drives so you can see them for yourself and have the opportunity to have your questions answered.
